EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL (SUPERIOR QUALITY) CAMPAIGN 2008 - 2009

Once the collection, extraction and analysis of our best olives has been completed the results are a very fruity oil with an intense green colour and a perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness with a touch of picante.
We collect our olives early and over two different time periods in order to offer the experts and olive oil lovers 2 different qualities of olive oil.
Collection 15th October (exclusive line).
Olive variety: Picual
The olives are green with very little oil content (for this reason the price is higher), the aroma, colour and taste of the oil is more intense and the oils medicinal properties are at their peak.
The olive oil from this first collection is an Extra Virgin Olive Oil of Superior quality, with an oleic acid of 0.1%. We have presented this quality at several competitions and fares both nationally and internationally. The olive oil is bottled in clear glass (500ml and 250ml) and packed individually in its own box to protect it from light. It comes with a secure tamper proof lid (to avoid the possibility of the bottles being refilled with inferior quality olive oil). We also market a gift box of 3 bottles each of 500ml in their own gift box and stock miniatures of 100ml and 40ml.
Collection 1st November (second collection).
Olive variety: Picual
The olives are slightly more mature and the collection contains some black olives. Therefore the oil content of the harvest is higher than that from the collection of the 15th October. The colour is very slightly less green but its attributes are very close to that of the first collection.
Olive oil from the November 1st collection is designated as an Extra Virgin Olive Oil of Excellent quality with an oleic acid less than 0.2% and in order for it to compete with rivals it is sold in plastic containers of 5 litres and bottles of 1 litre.
